holiday cocktails

  we are having a holiday cocktail party and i am brining on the martha. 

i was contemplating a bartender, but decided to have a self-serve bar.  here is a great article about how to set up a self-serve bar.  i am debating which cocktails to "feature" and whether or not i should do cocktail recipe cards.  i am thinking probably yes.  i think we are going to use glassware as well.  so i got out all the wine glasses, flutes and martini glasses - just because it seems more fun that way.  i went to michaels and made like 50 wine markers - they are so cute too. 

here are some of the fun holiday cocktails i am considering:
Christmas Cosmo
1/2oz cointreau
1/2 oz cranberry juice
1 tsp fresh lime juice
1 oz vodka

White Christmas Dream
1oz amaretto
1oz vodka
1oz heavy cream

Peppermint Stick
1 1/2 oz creme de cacao
1 oz heavy cream
1 oz peppermint scnapps

Hey Jenny! I loved the way Jenn and Brandon would setup the self serve bar with a few special cocktails and recipe cards for their Chinese New Year party. I think it is a great way to go for your party! Miss you!
